hello 19 and second year of uni.
 

I had my first birthday away from my family today. it was a nice day but I definately just wanted to be hanging out with mummy and tim and everyone back home. I'll have an actual party soon (&flood with pics!) so I guess it is just the not coming home to a cake thing that I miss. I was alone until about 2.30 when Mark got back from playing his gig in Canberra. I just fiddled around, washed some clothes, read some blogs, lazed around in a towel. It was nice. Understated. But, I guess it is part of growing up, birthdays being less momentous and more alone.

Mark and I went out to dinner. He bought me a lovely retro/vintage dress and some native flowers. Mummy & G sent me a whole bunch of gift cards and little things that made me smile. Tim sent me an IOU cos I had no idea what I wanted and I heard from my father for the first time since early December. Nothing bad happened to marr my night, though I do have 8.30 voice class tomorrow morning, which definately puts a damper on me staying up late and drinking vodka...in the way that I am not doing that. ha ha ha.

anywho, now for some photos to satisfy the narcissist in me, then I am off to bed. I am sure in no time I will be bitching like crazy.
